president
Niaomi Hrepich, RD, CLE - Public Health Program Manager for County of Monterey
Niaomi manages the WIC, CalFresh Healthy Living and Senior Congregate Meal Program for the county. She works with several partner organizations to support and educate community residents to eat healthy and be active. The CFHL program hosts the Nutrition and Fitness Collaborative of the Central Coast (NFCCC) with over 30 member agencies, working collectively to promote and advocate for policy, environmental and systems changes that foster a healthy active lifestyle striving to make the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice. I have been a county representative for CCLHDN since 2000 and have held numerous board positions. I am the mother of twins. I enjoy hiking, running, yoga, baking, gardening and walking my dog by the beach.

Laurie Walker, MS, RD
Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency
Laurie Walker is a Registered Dietitian and an HHSA Manager, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program with Yolo County.
Laurie looks forward to providing leadership to the CCLHDN Policy Committee and expanding membership and networking opportunities.

Natalie Whaples, RDN, CDCES, CLS
Natalie Whaples is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist dedicated to promoting health through evidence-based nutrition. She specializes in community wellness, obesity prevention and diabetes. Natalie combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, approachable style to help communities have better health and longevity.
Secretary
Maridet Castro Ibanez, RD
Maridet recently retired as the Nutrition Services Manager of the County of Orange Health Care Agency Nutrition Services/WIC Program and had been in this position since 2002. She has considerable experience in the field of nutrition, starting in acute care and then in the field of public health nutrition, where she started as an office assistant and worked her way through the ranks as a public health nutritionist, program supervisor, and now as the manager.
Treasurer
Barbara Longo, DrPA, RDN Barbara recently retired as the Director of Health Services of Lassen County. Prior to her eight years in Lassen, she worked for both the California State WIC and National School Lunch progams.
As Treasurer of CCLHDN, Barbara brings a strong commitment to integrity, financial stability, and accountability. She values the opportunity to help strengthen the organization’s financial foundation and sustain its impact statewide.
